Catalog note
Midjourney versions move. Check the version control in the Imagine bar or docs if you are reproducing a look. The V6 card in this catalog is outdated on purpose.
What operators should know
- Default for new prompts at review time; you can still pin an older version when a brand look depends on it.
- Personalization profiles from earlier versions may not transfer cleanly — test before a campaign.
- Image-first. If you need video, that is a different product (and a different review).
- No public API in the usual "drop this key in n8n" sense at review time. Workflow is the Midjourney product (web / Discord). Confirm current access on their site.
Honest limits
- Prompt adherence is better than early versions and still not a layout contract.
- In-image text remains something you check, not something you trust.
- Do not invent download or subscriber counts for "proof" it works.
